So, Henna is a dye from the dried leaves of lawsonite thornless (Lawsonia inermis).
With henna I first met in 9th grade. I had light brown hair that the sun shone in gold (photo 1), but teenage soul wanted to change.
Roots were growing back, and I decided to paint again. After reading a bunch of forums, I decided that this time I will keep the henna on longer so the color turned deeper.
-80-100 grams of henna (a bit is extra, but better to let them remain, than not enough)
-a few drops of oil of ylang-ylang
-coconut oil (and sometimes add just a little bit)
Fill it all boiled water to the state average density, and insist 15 minutes.
Kept about 5 hours. It turned out a nice rich color (photo 4).
Now wear makeup once a month, tinting roots, in the proportions indicated above. (photo 5,after polishing)
The color is beautiful, but honestly, in 4 years it bothered me. A couple of times, wanted to grow its color, but frustrated.
